# Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of Raconte. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.

## Service

Raconte is a platform for AI-driven voice interviews. It includes prompt creation, invitation delivery, conversation handling, transcription, and access to data through the UI, API or MCP.

## Account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under your account. An account can be used by a single individual.

## Acceptable use

Using Raconte for harassment, fraud, phishing, identity theft, non-consensual personal data collection, or any unlawful purpose is forbidden. You secure explicit consent from people invited to take part in an interview.

## Billing

The service is billed by usage. Each minute of active speech is debited from the prepaid wallet. No commitment, no automatic subscription. Top-ups and payments run through Stripe.

## Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your prompts, transcripts and recordings. You grant Raconte a limited license to process these contents only to provide the service.

## Availability

We target 99.99% availability. Occasional interruptions may happen for maintenance or force majeure. Major incidents are communicated on our status page.

## Liability

The service is provided “as is”. Our liability is capped at the amount paid over the past twelve months. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the generated transcripts.

## Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the competent courts.
